Festival of Nations

May 5, 2016 - May 6, 2016

$8 - $11

Festival of Nations3

It wouldn’t be spring without the celebration of cultures at the Festival of Nations (FON) held at the St. Paul River Centre. This year’s FON is scheduled for May 5-8, 2016.

On Thursday, May 5  from 9-3 and Friday, May 6 from 9:30 – 4:30, the FON is open exclusively to school groups who are bussed in for the day. On the main stage the Ethnic Dance Theatre will present a series of dances followed by folk dance instruction. It is a very popular event with the students and the performance and teaching is repeated multiple times during the two days. If your child is one of the lucky groups attending this year’s FON, remind them to catch a show of the Ethnic Dance Theatre on the main stage.
